Parc Astérix Parc Astérix, 60128 Plailly, France

Parc Astérix is a theme amusement park in France, based on the comic book series "Asterix. Situated approximately 35 km north of Paris, 32 km from Disneyland Paris and 20 km from the historic Château

The park offers a variety of services for people with reduced mobility and the person accompanying them.

  • Special rates are available for people with reduced mobility and for one person accompanying them. These tickets can only be purchased at ticket booths 4 and 5.
  • You need to present an MDPH Card, a Disabled Identification Card or a Priority Disabled Card at the welcome desk at the entrance of the park.  Our team will give you all the information and documents you need to fully enjoy your day in the park.  You will be given a "Easy Access” wristband and an explanatory guide.  This wristband and guide will give you access to the alternative entrance of the attractions.
  • Specially adapted car parking spaces reserved for your use are available in car parks 1 and 2 (the nearest to the entrance). These parking spaces are available for the use of disabled parking permit holders. These are paying car parks.
  • For each attraction and show you wish to attend, the operator will explain what you need to do and how to access the attraction or show.
  • One of the accompanying persons must be at least 15 years old and must be able to help the person with reduced mobility that he/she is accompanying, if necessary.  Our staff are not authorised or trained to physically help visitors.  It is therefore the responsibility of the accompanying person to physically help the person with reduced mobility to board and disembark the attractions.  Three people at the most are authorised to accompany a person with reduced mobility.  If there are more than four people in your family group, only the person entitled to easy access and the three people accompanying him/her can use the special alternative access; the rest of the group must join the queues.
  • Wheelchairs are available free of charge at the welcome desk at the entrance of the park. You will need to leave a deposit of €50 (please note that the number of wheelchairs is limited).
  • Assistance dogs are allowed in the park upon presentation of a permit showing that the dog has been trained in an approved training centre.  They must be wearing an officially authorised assistance dog vest or collar.

Paid parking (€10 Fee) with plenty of disabled bay. You can rent wheelchair as well, Manual wheelchair is free but there is some charges for powered wheelchair. Good wheelchair access, staff very helpful. The Dolphin show is a highlight. To gain the access to restricted rides you need to register at wheelchair office. Plenty of loos around. Some rides have steps so I avoided them but over all it was fun.

The carpark is beside the park and the accessible bays are closest. There is a security check to get in the park, but wheelchair users can skip the long queue and go to the front of the line. You need to register to get the access card, which allows access to rides through special lines. The access card also gives info on what is accessible and what is not. Some rides you may be able to transfer and a few of them you may not ride of you cannot walk. Parts of the park are on a hill, but this was not too difficult. We all enjoyed the dolphin and seal show. There are lots of refreshment stands and toilets around the park as well. We really enjoyed the day
